Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (HVAC Focused)
Location: Bristol, PA (On-site, M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Duration: 6 Months (Temp-to-Perm)
Pay Rate: $33.65 - $38.46/hr on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (Working Supervisor) to lead daily maintenance operations with a heavy focus on HVAC and mechanical building systems. This role splits time between frontline team leadership and hands-on technical execution, serving as the site's primary mechanical resource. The ideal candidate ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility while guiding a small team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Coordinate daily activities for maintenance technicians and third-party vendors. Assign, prioritize, and audit work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Hands-on Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and complex corrective repairs on HVAC systems, electrical setups, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure (doors, ceilings, basic carpentry).
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex HVAC issues affecting occupant comfort, warehouse conditions, and specialized facility environments.
  • CMMS & Work Management: Utilize CMMS platforms (such as Maximo) to log work orders, track labor, review asset history, and manage the maintenance backlog.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards, site-specific safety protocols, and PPE requirements. Lead regular safety briefings and toolbox talks.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of comprehensive facilities maintenance experience, including at least 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • HVAC Expertise: Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with commercial HVAC mechanical systems.
  • Certification: Active EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification is strictly required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using a CMMS platform and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and control schematics.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably within tight mechanical spaces.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active HVAC Trade License.
  • Prior experience working within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) or regulated GMP environments.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
