About this Opportunity
The Income Maintenance Program Manager II provides supervision, training, support, and leadership to Food and Nutrition Services, Energy, Program Integrity, and Childcare Assistance Units. This position provides direct supervision over a team of Income Maintenance Supervisors and indirect supervision of eligibility staff, program specialists, and support staff. This position is responsible for developing policies and procedures for the programs, ensuring quality and timeliness standards are met, acting on employee problems, selecting new employees, and conducting staff evaluations. The Income Maintenance Program Manager II is also responsible for tracking training, reports, and certification for staff in assigned program areas as well as preparing and monitoring monthly reports. This role serves as a liaison for state partners for assigned program areas and collaborates with community groups, local service providers, and businesses throughout the County.
Must be available to work during emergency situations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with five years of experience in social services plus three years supervisor experience in the area of eligibility determination; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience in the administration of Income Maintenance Programs and considerable knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations of these programs is required.

Physical Requirements
Must be physically able to operate a variety office equipment. Must be able to exert a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
