Job description

Maintenance Manager

Location: Salem, Oregon
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 base salary
Work Model: On-site
Schedule: Primarily day shift, with on-call support as needed
Relocation: Assistance may be available for the right candidate

Pro Found Recruiting is working on a confidential Maintenance Manager search for an established food manufacturing company in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

This is a plant-level maintenance leadership role for someone who combines industrial maintenance management experience with strong electrical and controls expertise. The right person will lead maintenance operations, support equipment reliability, oversee preventive maintenance, and help keep a food manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.

An active Oregon Supervisory Electrician license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the maintenance team across electrical, mechanical, facility, and utility needs

  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and control-system issues on industrial production equipment

  • Support PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics, automated packaging equipment, and related systems

  • Manage preventive maintenance programs, schedules, logs, SOPs, and documentation

  • Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance execution

  • Support maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systems

  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in a food-safe manner

  • Train, mentor, and hold maintenance team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and performance

  • Work cross-functionally with production, safety, and plant leadership to support daily operations

Qualifications

  • Active Oregon Supervisory Electrician license required

  • Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience required

  • Maintenance leadership experience required

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and controls background

  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servos, robotics, automated packaging, or industrial control systems

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms

  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery, utilities, facility systems, and equipment reliability

  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required

  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support a 24/7 production environment when needed

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead in a manufacturing plant environment
