Job description

The Maintenance Man plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of facility infrastructure. Working within a small maintenance team of 1-3 people, this position involves conducting preventive maintenance, performing emergency repairs, and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and sprinkler systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Manager, this role offers opportunities for advancement to Maintenance Supervisor without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify repair needs
  • Execute plumbing and electrical repairs and installations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests
  • Maintain and repair sprinkler lines and systems
