Facilities Maintenance Associate
Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, grounds, equipment, and general work areas in a safe, clean, functional, and professional condition. This is a hands-on position performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, groundskeeping, snow and ice removal, and other facility-related duties.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, self-motivated, and comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operation of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance, clean up and general repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and complete minor mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and hardware repairs within the scope of training and qualifications.

  • Regularly inspect buildings and grounds and identify items requiring repair or attention.

  • Maintain exterior areas, walkways, entrances, parking areas, and grounds.

  • Perform snow and ice removal, including shoveling, snow blowing, authorized plowing, and applying ice-melting materials.

  • Respond to weather-related facility needs to maintain safe access to the building.

  • Move furniture, materials, supplies, equipment, and other items as needed.

  • Assist with setting up and rearranging offices, production areas, storage areas, and other company spaces.

  • Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and storage areas in good working condition.

  • Assist outside contractors and service technicians and provide authorized access to facility equipment.

  • Identify unsafe conditions and promptly report or correct them as appropriate.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Assist with emergency facility issues as needed.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
