Under the direction of the Waterfront Thrift Store Management Team, theMaintenance Associate ensures the store is clean at all times in accordancewith the guidelines listed below.
JobQualifications:
Christian Commitment:Must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and possess high levelsof ethics, honesty and character. Must be willing to sign the WRM Core Valuesform.
Education/Experience: Oneor more years related experience and/or training in area of maintenance and/orcommercial cleaning.
Must have the ability to form effectiveworking relationships with supervisors, clients, other staff members and thepublic.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the sidewalk andparking lot are free of weeds and debris.
  • Ensures all glass is clean andfree of fingerprints.
  • Performs high and low dusting.
  • Keeps restrooms stocked at alltimes.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean andin good working order.
  • Report items in need of repairto Store Manager or Manager on Duty.
  • Empty trash cans throughout thestore.
  • Report low inventory of storesupplies.
  • Ensure great customer serviceat all times. Greet all customer entering the store and any that come within5’.
  • Follow all safety policies andprocedures per WRM guidelines.
  • Use wet floor cones in moppedlocations.
  • Practice the established rulesfor ladder safety.
  • Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisoror other Mission management.
