Job description

Seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and IBM MQ to support enterprise applications in an Automotive Finance environment. The role includes development, production support, troubleshooting, batch optimization, and technical solution delivery.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and provide production support for COBOL/CICS mainframe applications.
  • Troubleshoot batch and online abends, production issues, and application defects.
  • Analyze and optimize daily/monthly batch processing and reduce processing windows.
  • Perform impact analysis across integrated systems and platforms.
  • Prepare technical designs, estimates, documentation, and unit testing.
  • Participate in on-call production support for critical batch processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
