Location: Addison, TX or Charlotte, NC – Hybrid
Employment: W2 only – Innova Solutions
Rate:  $65/hr max ON W2
Interview: Video + In-Person

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Assembler Developer with 8+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe application development and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Assembler/HLASM, JCL, batch processing, and mainframe scheduling/change-management tools.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of IBM Mainframe development and production support
  • Strong hands-on experience with Assembler / HLASM
  • JCL development and troubleshooting
  • GDGs and batch processing
  • Connect (NDM)
  • ISPW or equivalent change-management tools
  • CA7 scheduling
  • TSO / ISPF environment
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot is required

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Assembler/Mainframe applications
  • Create and troubleshoot JCL and batch jobs
  • Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Manage batch processing, GDGs, and scheduling activities
  • Work with Connect/NDM for file transfers
  • Perform code changes and deployments using ISPW or similar tools

Monitor and troubleshoot mainframe applications in a production environment
