Job description

Job Summary:
U.S. Bank is on a mission to help customers make better financial decisions and support community growth. They are seeking a Senior Hardware Support Specialist to oversee team installations, maintain equipment records, and ensure proper installation practices while providing break/fix support.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees the team installations and assists where and when needed with day-to-day functions.
• Maintains records and audits of equipment, spacing, and spare parts inventories.
• Provides recommendations to management for supply reorder.
• Helps ensure proper installation practices and procedures are met adequately and consistently by using best practices.
• Oversees break/fix support process.
• Completes more technical aspects of break/fix process and recommends solutions.
• Helps coordinate changes, schedules, and monitors repairs while working with Business Lines to find an adequate time for replacement.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or Technical or vocational certification
• At least 5 years experience with installing, relocating, and maintaining computing hardware, such as monitors, small CPU's, and printers
• At least 5 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
Preferred:
• Basic understanding in IT incident management
• Working experience in hardware infrastructure
• Working experience in storage hardware
• Working experience in IT standards, procedures, policy
• Working experience in mid-range hardware
• Working experience in mainframe hardware
• Working experience in change control
• Working experience in networking/communications hardware
• Working experience in telecommunications
• Working experience in server hardware
