Job Purpose:
Our Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring the operation of the warehouse and delivery system within the division while ensuring a competitive service advantage is provided to our customers. Some of these duties include shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics. This position will also provide supervision and leadership for the division to raise the standard of performance in meeting the financial and strategic goals of our internal and external customers.Job Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate work activities of warehouse functions (directly and through supervisors), including receiving, picking, shipping, delivery, security, and inventory control.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
PC proficient in Windows based software programs. Familiarity with mid-range and mainframe systems is helpful.
Excellent leadership, customer relations and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to motivate team, manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
Strong planning and organization skills are required.
A thorough understanding and experience with distribution management (customer service, sales, purchasing, warehouse, credit, information systems and logistics). Preferably from a large, national or decentralized organization.
Rate of Pay: $101,700 per year
