We are seeking a Sr Application Developer with Healthcare payer experience. This is a remote position. Accountable for analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enhancements to mainframe applications.
Skills/Experience
  • Understanding of healthcare payor functions.
  • 5 years application programming & analysis experience required.
  • Experience designing, developing and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies required.
  • Broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards required.
  • JCL, COBOL, DB2 and IMS DB/DC.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Project management and experience leading projects
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Job Duties
  • Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members on major projects to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and are incompliance with the organization's architectural standards.
  • Provide support in the full systems life cycle that may span a broad range of applications to ensure application software is delivered on time and within budget.
