Job Title – IT Admin/Analyst IV

Job Location Onsite in Kansas City-Onsite from day one -Need to be local

Duration - 6 Months+

Mode Of Interview -  Phone/Skype

Note – Need LinkedIn and with retail client experience

In depth understanding of applicable products and/or services and of client needs and expectations

Required Skills & Experience

·          5+ years of Linux server administration (Red Hat and SUSE), including command-line, patching, upgrades, and software install/deploy capabilities.

·       Hands-on experience with Rocket Enterprise Server (formerly Micro Focus) - administering the platform that hosts COBOL workloads on Linux.

·       Exposure to Rocket Enterprise Developer (sufficient familiarity to support the environment, even though the role is admin-focused).

·       AWS experience - solid understanding of operating Linux workloads in an AWS environment.

·       Strong, independently motivated approach to maintaining systems, documenting environments, and problem-solving.

·       Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional experience

·          DB2 and Teradata interface experience.

·       Background supporting mainframe-to-cloud lift-and-shift migrations.

·       Comfort with COBOL, JCL, and control cards in a modernized Linux context.

Ability to demonstrate a questioning attitude toward established work processes and procedures
