Job Title: Mainframe CICS System Administrator
Duration: 12+ Month (Potential extension)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Job Control Language (JCL)
  • Deep understanding of Mainframe Operating Systems (z/OS)
  • Proven experience in Mainframe Support and production operations
  • Solid background in Systems Programming within a mainframe environment
  • Experience with CICS system administration and support
  • Knowledge of TSO/ISPF utilities, datasets, and mainframe tools
  • Familiarity with batch scheduling tools (e.g., CA-7, Control-M, or equivalent)
  • Experience with system performance monitoring and tuning
  • Understanding of mainframe security frameworks (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
