Job description

Assistant Main Range Manager Position Summary The Assistant Main Range Manager assists the Main Range Manager in the daily operation of the Rio Salado Sportsman's Club (RSSC) Ranges. 
This position helps ensure the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the Main Range and Lower Ranges. The Assistant Main Range Manager provides direct supervision to staff, ensures compliance with RSSC Policies and Procedures, and promotes exceptional customer service while maintaining the Club's commitment to firearms safety. 
Duties and Responsibilities
 ● Assist in the daily management and operation of the shooting ranges. 
 ● Implement and enforce all RSSC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Main Range Procedures (MRP), and Club Policies. 
● Assist in supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating Range Safety Officers and cashiers. 
● Schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing levels for daily operations and maintenance activities.
● Perform opening and closing procedures, including security inspections, facility readiness, and cash reconciliation. 
● Ensure the range remains clean, organized, properly stocked, and maintained in a safe operating condition. 
● Conduct regular inspections of the Main Range, Lower Ranges, buildings, equipment, safety devices, and grounds. 
● Assist with minor maintenance projects. 
● Respond to customer concerns, safety issues, emergencies, and incident reports in a professional manner. 
● Monitor employee compliance with safety procedures and Club policies. 
● Assist in inventory management of supplies, merchandise, range equipment, and maintenance materials. 
● Support membership services and answer questions regarding range operations and memberships. 
● Promote outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. 
Qualifications 
● Thorough knowledge of firearms safety and handling. 
● Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop employees. 
● Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
● Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies and high-pressure situations. 
● Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled. Physical Requirements 
● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including Arizona summer temperatures. 
● Ability to operate Club vehicles and equipment safely. 
● Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection when required.
