A major retail health client of Aquent is hiring a temporary Print Shop Clerk to provide comprehensive on-site facility, mail, and document management support. This hands-on role is responsible for operating high-volume print and imaging equipment, managing incoming and outgoing mail streams, handling daily shipping and receiving, and assisting with general building operations to keep site facilities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document & Imaging Operations: Operate high-volume copy, print, finishing, and imaging equipment (paper cutters, binders, shrink-wrap, hole drillers); utilize document management software to open, transfer, process, and retrieve digital files.
  • Mail & Logistics Management: Process, sort, distribute, and apply postage for incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and packages; manage shipping and receiving operations for supplies and products.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Service: Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on convenience copiers (clearing jams, managing toner/paper stocks); coordinate external technician service calls and track service logs.
  • Site Support & Facilities: Assist with conference/meeting room setups, occupant moves, light building maintenance (e.g., re-lamping), and basic housekeeping as assigned.
  • Administrative & Reception: Maintain job billing logs and supply inventories; perform document archiving and file purging; provide backup coverage for call center, file services, and reception duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable; Required).
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience operating high-volume print, bindery, mail, and imaging equipment; functional knowledge of MS Office, email protocols, and basic digital file management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer service abilities; sharp attention to detail for quality control, meter tracking, and reporting.
  • Physical & Schedule Requirements: Ability to handle physical logistics tasks; flexibility to work periodic nights, weekends, or off-hour emergencies if required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $15.83 to $18an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
