Job description

Lynx Transport Inc. is now hiring a part-time & full-time FedEx Delivery Driver in the Cocoa, FL area. Drivers will be operating out of the Cocoa terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in Cocoa, FL. Our drivers will be operating box trucks provided by the employer.

  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST, BACKGROUND CHECK, AND HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
  • COMMERCIAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!
  • CDL LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED!!!!
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS!!! (SATURDAY'S)
  • Weekly Pay every Friday
  • Paid Training

Responsibilities:

- Arrive at FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages between 7:45 AM- 8:15AM

- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring packages are secure
- Follow delivery routes and schedules provided by the company
- Provide excellent customer service, including friendly interactions and timely deliveries
- Use handheld devices to track deliveries and update delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 150 pounds, on a regular basis
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
