Jamison Professional Services, Inc. ("Jamison") is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Mail Services Driver.
Job Title: Mail Services Driver
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Drivers are responsible for transporting mail and parcels between the Central Mail Facility and designated locations throughout Bethesda, Rockville, and Gaithersburg while maintaining security, accountability, and timely delivery of all mail items
Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled mail pickups.
Deliver mail to the assigned buildings.
Transport accountable mail.
Load and unload mail containers.
Operate contractor-furnished vehicles.
Perform morning and afternoon delivery routes.
Complete delivery documentation.
Maintain vehicle security.
Report vehicle issues.
Follow established delivery schedules.
Ensure chain of custody.
Assist with sorting upon returning to the mail facility.
Operate safely during adverse weather.
Follow driving and security policies.
REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Valid state driver's license.
Minimum one year of mail distribution experience.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to safely transport USPS APC containers.
Safe driving record.
Ability to obtain the required credentials.
Ability to pass required drug screening.
Location: On-Site- Bethesda, Rockville, and Gaithersburg locations
Schedule:
The CMF shall be operational between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays. Satellite mail facilities shall be operational between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday, except Federal holidays.
Clearance Level Required: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required background checks, in accordance with applicable law.
