The position is located in the Client and works under the close general supervision of the Director, Office of Support Service Division and the team leader. The incumbent will provide a variety of support services including (but not limited to) property management, publishing service, supply management, mail processing and services facilities and equipment maintenance and transportation services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arranges for and provides transportation services to designated staff for essential government business. Ensures that vehicles are clean and prepared for use at all times;
  • Processes agency mail and special packages including receipts, inter-agency routing of courier packages, processing outbound mail by metering or applying postage and deliveries to the US Post Office as required. Provides periodic reports as required.
  • Arranges for such services as printing, publication delivery, in-house reproduction; procurement of general office supplies, distribution and maintenance of stock levels.
  • Reviews stock levels and purges or disposes of items that have exceeded their useful life. Must obtain appropriate approvals before disposing of government assets as required.
  • Compiles and distributes statistical data, maintain service records and receipts; analyze equipment usage and project the needs of equipment and supplies, preparing reports as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of and appropriate levels of all equipment and supplies as required.
  • Maintains records on the possession of administrative property and transportation equipment, government vehicles and disposal of excess property.
