IDEALFORCE has multiple  Full Time  positions available immediately for Sr Software Engineer (PHP) to join our customer in Austin, TX. Client will sponsor visa if required. There will be initial phone screening followed by a day long in-person interview that involves whiteboarding and coding test. 

Job Description

Job Duties:
We are looking for outstanding Performance engineers to help engineer and maintain our test automation framework. Exceptional problem solving abilities will be critical for success. You must thrive in a fast moving company and adapt to change quickly.

The successful candidate will:
- Create test scripts & data load files
- Consolidate test data and provide test reports
- Customize web dashboard using Graphite web server
- Investigate test results and assist teams with troubleshooting
- Provide technical guidance to other software engineers
- Employ technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problems
- Develop unit and system level tests within an automation framework
- Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones
- Demonstrate total ownership of a product from inception to end of life
- Provide feedback on architectural and implementation enhancements
- Provide technical guidance to other software engineers
- Participate actively in team and company-wide architecture discussions

Qualifications

Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field is required and an advanced technical degree is preferred.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Strong in Data Structures.
-PHP skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems

-Working experience with OpenStack is preferred.
-Working experience with Git and Atlassian suite of products (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Fish-eye) is preferred
-Ability to self-organize and work effectively within a small team with minimal supervision
-Strong verbal and written communication skills are required due to dynamic nature of team discussions
-Working experience with generic test automation scripting languages including bash, ant and python
-Working experience with Graphite/StatsD metrics collection (concepts can be learned)
-Working experience with web dashboard design using Graphite web server
-Working experience with deployment and configuration of LAMP stack software
-Working experience with deployment and configuration of memcached, Redis, Solr, Varnish
-Magento PHP Test Development using PHPUnit
-Magento PHP Development Exposure/Familiarity with code base
-Magento Product Installation and Configuration
-Interest in learning Performance Engineering
-Familiarity with on-line commerce applications such as Magento is preferred.
