Job Description
 
Validation Engineer
location: Hillsboro, OR
Duration: 6 + months

Proficient in Linux, virtualization (KVM, Xen, etc), and network protocols.
    Fluency in Linux scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.).  
    Working experience in administering and configuring data center and cloud equipment such as Ethernet switch, cabling, network interface, server platforms, and various OS installations.
    Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
    Strong attention to detail and must be able to isolate and analyze software/hardware problems.
    Good writing and oral communication ability.   
    Experience within the team in network testing and benchmarking tools (e.g. Ixia, Spirent, netperf, iperf, etc.), and performance measurement and analysis.
    Experience within the team with cloud infrastructure, configuration, and management; knowledge with Openstack, OpenDaylight, SDN, NFV, Open vSwitch, and DPDK.
