Job description

Primary Care Physician Assistant
Clear Choice Dermatology - Madras, OR
Clear Choice Dermatology is a patient-centered practice committed in providing exceptional dermatological and primary care services. We are searching for a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Madras, OR.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive dermatological services to patients of all ages.
  • Evaluate patient concerns, write prescriptions, reach patient satisfaction and follow up accordingly.
  • Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans within their scope of practice for cosmetic patients and treatment administration as directed by supervising physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Provide answers to pre-treatment and post-treatment questions
  • Collaborate effectively with the dermatology team on cases requiring integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Follow HIPPA, all patient privacy and other health codes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support practice.
  • Support back office with medical questions, concerns and patient follow ups

Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license in Oregon.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Board certification (or eligibility for certification) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience in primary care is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge base.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (experience with EMA is a plus).
  • Special interest in dermatologic procedures and management of skin disorders.
