Job description

Scenic Fabricators at Cinco Made, are responsible for supporting our shop and installation teams in building, installing and dismantling event structures and custom builds. This role requires hands-on carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently move and handle heavy materials, has experience using hand tools (drills, saws, etc...), and contribute effectively to our installation projects with enthusiasm and reliability.


Job Duties

  • Assist with the installation and setup of event assets, including custom builds, displays, and signage.
  • Support carpentry tasks such as cutting, assembling, and finishing wooden structures.
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure all projects meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Handle tools and materials safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Travel to various event locations as needed, often on short notice. Must be able to drive a truck pulling a trailer or a 26ft box truck.
  • Dismantle and pack up installations after events, ensuring all components are accounted for and stored properly.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as required by project schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to drive a truck pulling a trailer or a 26ft box truck.
  • Ability to lift 75LBS overhead repeatedly.
  • Ability to travel out of state for multiple days at a time.


This is a contract-based per-project position, and you can expect to work anywhere from 10-50 hours per week in a typical week. Contracts can last anywhere from a couple days, weeks or months at a time.
