Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Support the operation to deliver Superior Guest Service by delivering food orders to guest tables, bus tables, assist with table set up, washing and cleaning cooking utensils and cookware to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
2. Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
3. Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
4. Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
5. Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
6. Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils and napkins.
7. Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware. Carefully wash by hand, and safely and skillfully operate the washing equipment, to thoroughly clean all cookware and cooking utensils.
8. Scrub pots and pants.
9. Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly. Keep the wash area clean and organized.
10. Stock and maintain supplies and equipment.
11. Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trash.
12. Follows safe food handling and proper hygiene practices.
13. Adheres to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment and reports any equipment malfunction to management immediately.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Adheres to applicable regulatory requirements, organizational policies and procedures, and departmental guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Previous Experience
One to three months related experience and/or training.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information individually and in small group situations to customers and co-workers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
