Job description

As a member of the Blackhawk Country Club team, you play an integral role in advancing our Club’s Vision and Strategic Plan. You will be expected to adhere to our "6B's," which outline the fundamental expectations we have of every employee. Position Summary

The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils.                                                                                                                         

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Washing, storing, and stocking all plateware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other smallwares and equipment to ensure sufficient quantities are on hand and ready to serve our Members
  • Participating in sanitation and cleaning of kitchen / back of house using a commercial dishwashing machine
  • Assisting with culinary tasks in a team oriented fast paced kitchen and restaurant to ensure an excellent dining experience
  • Complying with all food and beverage regulations, as well as the Club’s safety and hygiene policies.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role in a restaurant or club setting is preferred.
  • Ability to follow cleaning protocols and detailed instruction
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work on feet for an extended period and lift cookware or dinnerware when necessary.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
