Job Overview
The Lead Enterprise Data Engineer designs and maintains scalable data architecture to support Macy's analytics initiatives. This role ensures high-quality, secure, and efficient data pipelines that enable strategic decision-making and customer-centric innovation across the enterprise.
What You Will Do
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and processing systems for priority analytics use cases
• Collaborate with Technology and Data Science teams to integrate machine learning models and optimize data workflows
• Implement data models, standards, and quality rules in partnership with Data Architects
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in coordination with Legal and Privacy teams
• Support business users with curated data sets and user-friendly tools for data access
• Promote a data-driven culture and increase digital IQ across business units
• Monitor and improve database structures and ETL processes for performance and reliability
• Automate data cleansing and harmonization processes in refined/trusted zones
