Job Summary
The Senior National Account Manager will lead the Home & Personal Care business with Target, with additional oversight of Kohl's, JCPenney, and Macy's. This role is responsible for driving sales, profitability, and strategic growth across these accounts, with a primary focus on building a strong partnership with Target. The ideal candidate brings direct experience managing the Target account, a strong understanding of Target's merchandising and planning processes, and the ability to turn insights into winning customer strategies.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the Target account strategy, including annual planning, Joint Business Planning, assortment, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute customer plans that deliver revenue, margin, and market share goals across assigned accounts.
- Manage account P&L and trade investment, monitoring performance and recommending actions to improve results.
- Build strong relationships with Target merchant, planning, and category teams, as well as key internal cross-functional partners.
- Lead customer business reviews and present fact-based recommendations grounded in category trends, shopper insights, and performance data.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution, optimize assortment, and accelerate growth across in-store and digital channels.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, helping shape business priorities and execution plans.
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required
- 7+ years of sales or national account management experience with a major retailer, including direct experience supporting the Target account
- Proven success managing large retail accounts and delivering against sales and profit targets
- Strong understanding of customer planning, Joint Business Planning, trade investment, and account P&L management
- Experience working with Target's merchandising, planning, and promotional processes
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to translate market, category, and shopper insights into clear customer strategies

The salary range for this role is $146,293 -$182,867. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location, and business or organizational needs. This position is eligible for an annual merit increase, incentive compensation, or a comprehensive benefits package.
