Responsibilities   

  • Set-up and operate a variety of machines 
  • Operate machinery per the instructions provided  
  • Machine parts to required tolerances 
  • Inspect parts and make adjustments as necessary to meet quality requirements 
  • Adjust the machine as necessary to maintain quality 
  • Perform all necessary hand operations such as filing, fitting and scraping 
  • Experience working on a lathe preferred
  • Previous wood working experience preferred  

Requirements  

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Previous experience working as a machinist
