Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machinist III to join our dynamic team in Sharon, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines and manual lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
  • Train and mentor junior machinists and apprentices as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, with a strong understanding of CNC programming.
  • Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
