Job description

Position Summary
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts using CNC Milling, Lathe, and Swiss Turn machines. This role involves machine operation, part inspection, tool changes, simple program edits, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Milling, Lathe, and Swiss Turn machines under the direction of supervisors or team leads
  • Load parts, operate machine controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, and change tooling as needed
  • Perform deburring and secondary operations required for production
  • Inspect and measure parts using hand measuring tools and document measurements on control charts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and inspection documentation
  • Monitor part quality and report any quality, safety, or equipment issues to management
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and team members regarding production or quality concerns
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ISO quality standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate CNC Milling, Lathe, or Swiss Turn machines independently
  • Ability to read blueprints and inspection instructions
  • Experience using hand measuring tools and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of related CNC machining experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
