Job description

SWISS CNC MACHINIST / OPERATOR – CITIZEN MACHINES

Universal Punch Corporation – Southern California

Universal Punch Corporation is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC turning machines
  • Perform machine setups, offsets, and tool changes
  • Read and interpret precision manufacturing drawings
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Maintain close tolerances and high-quality finishes
  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
  • Work with small, high-precision components
  • Assist with honing operations when required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating Citizen Swiss CNC machines
  • Swiss CNC setup experience strongly preferred
  • Programming experience is a plus
  • Experience with honing equipment is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of tight-tolerance precision machining
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
