We're seeking a Machine Operator who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

Job Title: Machine Operator   |   Req ID: 16319   |   HR Contact: Edgar Alexander DERCE MOLINARES   |   Location: Building Envelope - Rockland, MA

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is responsible for operating the pour table and laminator, verifying product run information is correct, and driving operational efficiencies e.g. wet density and line speed. Starting pay $29.10 + $1.00 shift differential Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Check the status of equipment in the production operating system.
  • Responsible for preparing each run according to the daily production schedule.
  • Validating batch information and set up.
  • Monitors each run for quality and efficiency e.g., wet density and line speed.
  • Adjusts equipment settings based on quality control feedback.
  • Capturing production run information (chemical used, downtime, and scrap reporting) and inputting data into the production data base.
  • Maintains the hour by hour board.
  • Maintain the 5 S posture of the Machine Operator area.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
