Job Description
This role involves independently operating high-speed packaging and production equipment in a modern, automated manufacturing facility. You will monitor and adjust machinery to meet efficiency and output goals, perform quality checks on products, and ensure accurate packaging of boxes. The position combines hands-on machine operation with general production and packing duties in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Independently operate high-speed packaging and production machinery to achieve daily efficiency and output targets.
- Monitor equipment performance throughout the shift and make appropriate adjustments to maintain smooth and continuous production.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
- Accurately package products into boxes, ensuring correct counts, labeling, and presentation.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements at all times, including proper handling of products and equipment.
- Support general production and packing activities as needed to maintain workflow and meet production schedules.
- Use a forklift to move materials, products, and packaging supplies as required, in addition to core machine operation duties.
- Comply with all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site safety rules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other crews to report issues, share information, and support continuous operations in a 24/7 environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating production or packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with machine operation tasks such as starting, stopping, monitoring, and adjusting high-speed equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform product quality checks and follow established quality procedures.
- Experience with production, packing, and general labor tasks in a factory or GMP setting.
- Forklift accreditation, with at least basic skill level, to support material handling and additional duties.
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and comply with all related procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in a fast-paced, automated environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a large-scale manufacturing or packaging facility.
- Familiarity with automated and state-of-the-art production equipment.
- Comfort working in a highly structured, process-driven GMP environment.
- Willingness to perform both machine operation and forklift duties as part of the same role.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, with potential eligibility for contract opportunities for those able to work only days or only nights, depending on business needs.

Work Environment
This position is based in a large, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that operates under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The environment is heavily automated, temperature-controlled, and very clean. The facility employs approximately 400–500 people, with around 100 employees per crew across four crews. GMP compliance is mandatory, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hairnets, beard nets, and coats. Safety shoes are required and form part of the standard dress code. The work involves operating automated equipment, performing production and packing tasks, and using forklifts in a clean, organized, and safety-focused setting.
