Job description

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are hiring immediately for experienced and trainee Envelope Machine Adjusters in our Dallas, TX manufacturing plant for 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am).

**Note: The Trainee position is a developmental position that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual’s performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.

Machine Adjuster – Experienced & Trainee (Summary)

Pay & Schedule

  • Experienced: From $23/hr+
  • Trainee: From $20/hr+
  • 3rd shift premium: +$1.50/hr
  • Training typically on 1st shift (7am–3pm)
  • Mon–Fri, Saturdays as needed

Experienced Adjuster – Key Duties

  • Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot envelope machines
  • Perform changeovers, size changes, and mechanical repairs
  • Maintain speed, accuracy, and quality; minimize waste
  • Perform preventive maintenance and follow all safety rules

Trainee Adjuster – Key Duties

  • Learn machine operation, print changes, window changes, and full size‐changes
  • Assist with part installation, timing, and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures

Experienced – Requirements

  • 5+ years envelope machine experience
  • Advanced mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic math, ruler reading, and computer skills

Trainee – Requirements

  • 3–4 years mechanical experience
  • Ability to learn setup, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Basic math, ruler reading, and computer skills

Physical Requirements (Both Roles)

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching
  • Lift up to 55 lbs with assistance
  • Work around noise, machinery, inks, solvents
  • Ability to stay alert and work full shifts on your feet
  • Ability to work in hot/cold conditions and stay alert around equipment
