Job Title: Machinist
Location: Eau Claire, MI
Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm (Monday-Friday) + Overtime
Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour per hour

Job Summary
Are you a skilled machinist who enjoys hands-on problem solving and precision work? Weโ€™re seeking a Machinist to join our team in [City, State]. In this role, youโ€™ll play a key part in maintaining and repairing production equipment, as well as fabricating critical components that keep operations running smoothly.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
As a Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Machine Operation & Fabrication: Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment to manufacture and repair complex parts for production machinery.
  • Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with production equipment such as tube mills, presses, and drills, then dismantle and repair components as needed.
  • Precision Measurement & Layout: Use micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments to ensure parts meet exact specifications and perform layout work from blueprints or sketches.
In addition, you will assemble components into subassemblies and complete units, operate lift trucks and scissor lifts as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal apprenticeship or equivalent machinist training/experience preferred
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and lifting devices
Skills:
  • Mechanical aptitude: Strong understanding of machine shop practices and equipment operation
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery issues
