Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm- 4 ten-hour daysAll-weather, climate-controlled working conditions. What does a Machine Build Technician consist of:Familiar with proper assembly and disassembly techniques.Understanding fastener torques and how things fit together.Able to read blueprints to assemble components.Attention to details and keeping work area organized.Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.Understands hydraulic and pneumatic concepts and how actuators work.Having own tools is a plus.Ability to follow verbal and written directions.Dynamic and varied workplace, not the same thing everyday.Troubleshooting skills a plus.Ability to make small parts or modifications to parts using a manual vertical mill (Bridgeport) a huge plus.Ability to make small parts or modifications to parts using a manual lathe (Hardinge) a huge plus.Machinists, Maintenance machinist, industrial maintenance technicians, and machine technicians are a good fit for this position.Ability to layout, drill and tap holes manually and accurately.
