Small Bench Operator: Montgomery, Illinois
Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is a trusted metal manufacturing facility with a reputation for quality craftsmanship and precision. They are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Small Bench Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift.
 
Responsibilities of the Machine Shop - Small Bench Operator:
  • Operate and manage small bench machines to machine metal parts and components.
  • Set up equipment and tools to meet production specifications.
  • Follow all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
 
Machine Shop - Small Bench Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of measuring tools.
  • Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.
 
Pay for Machine Shop - Small Bench Operator: Starting at $21.00/hour
