Southern Truck Equipment Inc is looking for an experienced and driven Shop Manager to lead our team in Almont, MI. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily shop operations, keep projects moving, and ensure top-quality work is delivered every time. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day shop operations, workflow, and production scheduling
  • Supervise, mentor, and manage shop technicians and support staff
  • Ensure quality control standards are met on all truck equipment installations and repairs
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet project deadlines and customer expectations
  • Manage parts inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop environment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands-on guidance to technicians as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a shop management or lead technician role, preferably in truck equipment or automotive
