Do you have strong machine shop experience and enjoy helping others succeed? Join a growing manufacturing company as a Machine Shop Lead. 
 
This established automotive manufacturer produces high-quality components used in vehicles across North America. The facility offers a fast-paced machine shop environment where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are top priorities. As a Machine Shop Lead, you'll play a key role in supporting production, developing team members, and helping ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
 
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a company that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee growth.
 
Machine Shop Lead Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot machine and process issues to support safety, quality, and production goals
  • Train and mentor machine operators on machine operation, inspection techniques, and best practices
  • Use calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and blueprints to verify part quality and support production
  • Assist with machine setups, job changeovers, and process improvements
  • Jump in and support daily production activities as needed to keep operations running smoothly
 
Schedule: Day Shift Monday-Friday, 5:45am - 2:45pm
 
Pay: $60,000-$80,000 annually
 
Machine Shop Lead Requirements:
  • 5+ years of machine shop experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience using calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and reading blueprints
  • Experience troubleshooting machining equipment and production issues
  • Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining operations and machine setups
