The L'Oréal USA Summer Internship Program is a paid, 11-week experience where you will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of a team while also leading your own, individual strategic project to discover what it is truly like to develop a career at L'Oreal. We are committed to giving our interns the space to explore, to have full time employee responsibilities, present their own insights to senior management, and to become future leaders. At the end of the summer, you will present your project to senior leadership for the opportunity to be considered for a full-time return offer into our Management Trainee program.

Who You Are:

• Ambitious students currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university who are expected to graduate between December 2027 - July 2028
• Trendsetters and innovative thinkers who want to create the beauty that moves the world
• No prior industry experience is necessary to apply
• Minimum Requirements:

• Able to start working fulltime starting September 2028 upon graduation with your bachelor's degree
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Willing to relocate to any USA-based office that has a summer internship opportunity, including:

• New York, NY

What You'll Do:
At L'Oréal, data is at the heart of how we innovate, personalize, and scale beauty for billions of consumers worldwide. As a Data Science Intern, you'll work at the intersection of advanced analytics, technology, and business, helping transform complex data into actionable insights that drive real impact. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global environment while contributing to data products used across iconic brands.

• Analyze and model large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights
• Build and support data-driven solutions using Python, R, SQL, and modern analytics techniques

• Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics to real-world business challenges
• Create compelling data stories through visualizations and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies
• Support data products with a strong focus on data quality, data governance, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs

What You'll Bring

• Experience with data science languages (Python, R, SQL) and data manipulation techniques
• Understanding of data warehouses, databases, data lakes, and data platforms
• Familiarity with APIs, data integration, and resolving data quality issues
• Strong foundation in data management principles, including modeling, integration, and governance

The Program:

• This is a paid internship opportunity. Housing assistance is provided on an individual basis based on eligibility per our L'Oréal Relocation Policy.
