Millennium Machine and Tool is now hiring responsible and experienced (1 – 3 years minimum) CNC Lathe Machinists to work in our expanding, innovative and diverse company in Newton, Kansas. As we continue to grow, we are looking for you to help us with our journey. We are now filling positions on 1st and 2nd shift. Job Description

CNC Lathe Operator – 1st Shift and 2nd Shifts

  • CNC Lathe Machinist positions

WORK SCHEDULE:

1st Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm   

2nd Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday 3:15- 1:45 am, $1.50 shift differential

Typical work week is 40-45 hours a week. Friday is overtime, may be required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED / PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of CNC programming, editing, trouble shooting and problem solving.
  • Daily team communication and collaboration
  • Attention to detail with the ability to focus on safety, productivity and most importantly quality.
  • Aptitude test during interview.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES

  • Requires a strong, related work history.
  • Can work well independently and in team settings.
  • Observes safety procedures by using equipment properly.
  • Dependable attendance

EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathes.
