1st Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday – Friday

This is a hands-on role where you'll repair and restore industrial reciprocating compressor equipment. Every day brings a new challenge as you machine precision components and help return critical customer equipment to service.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and horizontal boring mills to repair industrial equipment
  • Machine precision components from raw materials using blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
  • Perform complete repairs on customer equipment in our Aftermarket Service Center
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tight tolerances
  • Determine machining methods, layouts, and order of operations
  • Sharpen, repair, and maintain cutting tools
  • Perform minor machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of manual machining experience
  • Experience operating manual mills and lathes
  • Horizontal boring mill experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of shop mathematics and precision measuring equipment
  • Self-motivated with pride in producing quality work
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience repairing reciprocating compressors is a plus, but not required
