Manufacturing Assistant

Job Title: Manufacturing Assistant
Location: Catawba, SC
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11pm

Manufacturing Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Train in various departments, including material handling, shear operation, and manual bender machine operation.
  • Operate machines such as overhead cranes and large forklifts.
  • Work in a smaller warehouse environment, wearing multiple hats.
  • Perform tasks involving bending, cutting, and measuring metal, steel, and rebar.
  • Operate various power tools, including routers, table saws, drills, band saws, jig saws, drill press, power staplers, etc.
  • Perform finishing operations, including riveting, deburring, assembly using screws, nuts and bolts, plastic welding, power stapling, and gluing.
  • Handle heavy manual equipment and adapt to extreme temperature changes.

Manufacturing Assistant Qualifications:

  • MUST have over head crane operation experience
  • Good math skills and willingness to learn how to operate different equipment.
  • Experience in the construction field, fabricating, or rebar work is encouraged.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physically demanding tasks.
