Job description

Schedule: Evening shift, typically 4:30PM-11PM (varies depending on ski volume)
Status: Part-Time, Seasonal
As a part-time Ski Tuner, you'll join our evening crew to help deliver high-quality overnight ski tunes. This role is a great fit for those who have some ski tuning experience or hands-on mechanical ability and want to be a part of a supportive shop environment during the winter season.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect skis for damage and tuning needs; flag safety concerns
  • Sharpen edges using proper tuning tools
  • Repair bases ranging from minor scratches to core shots and compressions
  • Grind bases flat and apply structure as appropriate for snow conditions
  • Wax skis for performance and longevity
  • Check bindings for safe function and accurate DIN settings
  • Maintain tuning tools and machinery
  • Keep an organized workspace and assist with general upkeep
  • Support the team and communicate clearly with coworkers and, when needed, customers

Qualifications
  • Ski tuning experience preferred, but willing to train the right mechanically inclined candidate
  • Basic understanding of ski components and snow performance
