Wire Technician/Assembler

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble instrument sub-assemblies and products as instructed.
  • Wire sub-assemblies, cables, and products using hand tools.
  • Solder wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Rework and modify PCB assemblies as needed.
  • Create mechanical test fixtures.
  • Assist in inspecting metal work in the receiving department.
  • Make minor modifications to metal parts in the company machine shop.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent work experience/technical training).
  • Solder certification.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and PCBs.
  • Experience with hand and manufacturing tools.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures.
  • Clear communication in English (written and verbal).
