Lead Maintenance Tech (Machine Repair)
RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities to support production requirements.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, assigning, and prioritizing maintenance work.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance associates.
  • Train, mentor, and assist in the development of maintenance associates.
  • Coordinate maintenance coverage, overtime requirements, and shift priorities.
  • Issue, assign, monitor, and follow up on preventative maintenance (PM) activities and work orders.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Tool Room, and other departments to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and corrective action activities.
  • Inspect, measure, repair, replace, align, and adjust mechanical components including bearings, shafts, clutches, spindles, gearboxes, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and robotic systems.
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit, motors, transformers, sensors, programmable controllers, and related equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to lead and coordinate maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and respond effectively to production demands
  • Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, conveyors, motors, transformers, drives, and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems
  • Journeyman Card preferred

PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:
  • 2nd shift, 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday with OT on weekends as required
  • $40.00 per hour
  • $1.50 per hour Shift differential
  • $2.00 per hour additional if you have Journeyman Card
  • Union Facility - Member of UAW local 2000

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
