About the Role:

The Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by efficiently operating and maintaining various production machinery to ensure high-quality output. This position requires close attention to detail to monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, loading materials, and ensuring that production targets and safety standards are consistently met. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is essential to coordinate workflow and address any production challenges promptly. Ultimately, the Machine Operator contributes to the overall productivity and quality assurance of the manufacturing facility, supporting the company’s commitment to excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery in a production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and machine operation standards.
  • Physical ability to handle manual tasks and operate equipment safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in machine operation or manufacturing technology.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
  • Basic mechanical skills for minor machine repairs and adjustments.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production line equipment and machines to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery according to specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify product dimensions and quality standards.
  • Document production data, machine performance, and any incidents or maintenance activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes.

Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Attention to detail.
