Job description

We're looking for a skilled operator to run full converting and finishing equipment according to our standards for waste, quality, and productivity. You’ll set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision and help train others as needed.

Job Title: Converting Line Operator
Location: Elgin, IL
Pay Range: $22.00–$26.00/hr
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (Overtime as needed)


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all converting and finishing equipment
  • Read and follow job tickets accurately
  • Set up special functions: splicer, gluer, Straub/Label applicators, rotary cutter, etc.
  • Perform minor mechanical adjustments and repairs
  • Maintain accurate counts and follow all SOPs
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support and train team members when needed
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment setup experience
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Able to follow standardized work and safety procedures
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
Working Conditions
  • Indoor environment with exposure to heat (90°F+), and humidity (80%+)
