Job description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Capsule Operator

  • Set up the equipment to start production
  • Feed the machine with raw material powder as necessary
  • Check to see capsules are released correctly
  • Control of weight variation
  • Recuperation of powder from vacuums
  • Refill or supply the machine with raw material powder and capsules as necessary
  • Fill out all the different batch record formats, based on the time established
  • Keep the work area clean
  • Follow established SOPs for position and comply with GMPs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor

Tablet Operator

  • Set up the equipment to start production
  • Feed the machine with raw material powder as necessary
  • Fill out all the different forms, based on the time established
  • Keep the work area clean.
  • Follow established SOPs for position and comply with GMPs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry a plus
  • Knowledge of GMP
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)

Other: Late Night Shift: Monday to Friday 10pm to 5:45am

Physical Requirements:

Fast pace. Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting and moving 10 kilogram boxes. Ability to use ladders. Push, pull 100 kilo drums.

Typical Work Conditions:

Person will be subject to food and nutritional bulk ingredients, which may affect the respiratory system or the skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust or airborne allergens. Person will be working in a dry and low moisture environment


Monday to Friday 10pm to 5:45am
