Wolverine Solutions Group is a full-service document management company, specializing in direct mail production and document management services We provide customized, cutting-edge solutions for document execution, hard copy or electronic, for our clientele in both local and national markets.

Summary:

We are looking for a Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You'll ensure the endless and efficient running of production.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do a job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration from co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine setting (e.g. speed)
  • Feed envelopes/letters into semi-automated machines
  • Inspect envelopes/letters to ensure quantities, materials, and proper assembly.
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift or contact technician
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes
  • Keep records of approved and defective units
  • Maintain acceptable production standards (quality and productivity) along with activity logs.
  • Enter job processing information into corporate MIS system for production records.
  • Follow supplied instructions (mail envelopes, remits, additional inserts, and postage rate mail is metered at).
  • Balance each tray of mail prior to placing it on the pallet.

Requirements;
