Location: Windsor, ON


Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Press Operatorin our Windsor, Ontario cold stamp facility. The Press Operatoris responsible for theoperation of various tonnage presses and producing quality parts. Theideal candidate will have priorexperience in cold stamping, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Operation and knowledge of tonnage presses, decoilers, feeders, conveyors, cranes, and PLC controlled equipment
  • Perform Quick Die Change as per Q.D.C. procedure with minimum supervision
  • Use various measuring and inspection devices to ensure accuracy and part quality, complete all relevant paperwork
  • Troubleshoot for poor quality product and report all damages
  • Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity
  • Maintain and improve housekeeping within work area
  • Meet production targets as set forth by the company

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of machine operations/ work related experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time/ lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to work flexible shift times

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dies, presses, and press controls (start up, shut down, safety devices)


The pay range for this role is $23.00/hour to $32.35/hour.
